The BBC Jerusalem Bureau (located in Malha) serves as the corporation’s main base in the Middle East and hosts BBC News, BBC World Service, BBC Arabic and BBC Persian language broadcasting.
As of July 2013 the bureau chief is Richard Colebourn. Additional correspondents covering the region include Yolande Knell, Kevin Connolly, Bethany Bell and Quentin Sommerville.
From 2010 to 2013 the BBC Middle East Bureau in Jerusalem was headed by Paul Danahar who relocated to Washington in July 2013. Additional correspondents during that period were Wyre Davies who moved to Brazil in late May 2013 and Jon Donnison who was relocated to Australia.
