‘Future of the BBC’ discussed in Parliament

On October 21st 2013 a debate titled “Future of the BBC” was held in the House of Commons.

For some reason, the BBC chose to focus on the contribution of one participant in the debate in its report on the subject.

However, other MPs also took part in the debate and their contributions to it can be read here.

On October 22nd the Select Committee on Culture, Media and Sport discussed the 2013 BBC Annual Report. On the same day, the Select Committee announced the launch of an inquiry titled ‘Future of the BBC’ which will collect written evidence until December 6th 2013 – more details are available here
